TransVare appoints FAMCO Associates as exclusive implementation partner in Pakistan

FAMCO Associates, a Karachi-headquartered consulting firm, has been named the exclusive implementation partner of TransVare solutions in Pakistan.

With more than four decades of experience, FAMCO Associates provides management consultancy, cybersecurity, internal audit, enterprise risk management and business continuity services to clients across Pakistan. The Karachi-based firm – a member of ECOVIS International – serves clients across sectors including financial services, public sector and government, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, and energy and utilities.

As exclusive implementation partner, FAMCO Associates will offer, implement and support TransVare’s suite of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions for enterprise clients across Pakistan.

TransVare provides an integrated suite of solutions covering the full GRC landscape, with a focus on organizations operating in regulated industries. Its GRC platforms address key areas of the discipline, including Internal Audit Management (AuditVare), Enterprise Risk Management (ERMVare), Governance Management (GovernanceVare), Incident Management (InciVare), Compliance Management (ComplianceVare) and Cyber Security Risk Management (CyberVare).

“This partnership is significant because it pairs TransVare’s specialist GRC platforms with FAMCO Associates’ deep local experience and delivery capability in Pakistan,” said TransVare in an announcement.

“FAMCO Associates brings decades of consultancy, audit and risk expertise together with established client relationships, while TransVare’s suite equips it to deliver governance, risk and compliance outcomes for enterprise clients through a single, integrated platform.”

Demand for GRC capabilities

The partnership comes against a backdrop of growing demand for GRC capabilities in Pakistan as organizations respond to tightening governance and compliance expectations.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s corporate governance codes, risk-management and prudential requirements from the State Bank of Pakistan for financial institutions, and evolving data-protection and cybersecurity expectations are prompting enterprises to strengthen how they govern, manage risk and evidence compliance.

This development is seeing businesses in regulated industries increasingly seek integrated platforms that replace fragmented, manual processes with a unified view of governance and risk.

Last month, TransVare appointed another Pakistan-based consultancy, SuperNova Solutions, as an alliance partner for the Asian market
